Goal correction – Ongoing phase

Updated by Lucie Heroudkova

During the ongoing phase, there may be a need to redefine goals.

For example, you may want to add or delete a goal, adjust goal weights, etc.

In this case, a manager, administrator, or HR administrator can start the Goal Correction process.

Starting the Goal Correction process - manager

  1. Open the subordinate's evaluation (from the Evaluations tab on the employee's profile).
  2. Under the Options button, select the Correcting goals action.

  1. You must fill in a comment for this action. The comment will be recorded in the Evaluation history and will also be displayed to the subordinate in the email invitation/request to complete the evaluation.
  2. After starting the correction process, the goals will be available for editing again for the employee. The evaluation will now have the status Filled in by employee.
  3. Wait for your subordinate to correct the goals and resubmit the evaluation for approval. You will be notified again by email and receive a request to confirm the evaluation.
  4. Proceed as for approving the evaluation in the initial phase, see Manager approval of evaluation – Initial phase.

Correction of targets by employee

  1. If your manager has initiated the Goal Revision process, you will receive an email notification and a request in the system asking you to complete the evaluation.
  2. Open your review.
  3. The original goals are "preserved" at the bottom of the form; they cannot be edited.
  4. Above them, the original targets are copied, this time in editable mode.

  1. Review your goals based on your manager's comments and adjust them as needed. Proceed similarly to filling in goals for a new evaluation in the initial phase, see Employee completion of evaluation - Initial Phase.
  2. You can add a comment.
  3. Click the Send to manager button to resubmit the corrected evaluation for approval.
  4. When sending, the system checks again whether the sum of the objective weights is equal to 100% and whether all mandatory questions are answered. If any part is not filled in, the system will warn of the deficiency and mark the missing part with an exclamation mark icon on the relevant tab.
  5. After sending it to your manager for approval, the evaluation status is again Filled out by Manager.

Approval of revised targets by manager

  3. The result of the approval is a evaluation in the Ongoing phase with the status Approved.
