Evaluation - employee and manager respond in parallel

Description of a scenario in which both the employee and the manager respond in parallel.

1. Template settings

In the evaluation template, on the Questions tab, turn on the Concurrent answering switch (it must be green).

Next, add questions to the template for both the employee and their manager:

  • For employees - on the Questions form, fill in the required fields. In the Who is answering field, select Employee. Then save the form.

  • For a manager - on the Question form, fill in the required fields. In the Who is responding field, select Manager. The Visible to employees checkbox may or may not be checked. Then save the form.

2. Evaluation process

  1. The employee and their manager will receive a notification at their email address containing a link that will redirect them to the evaluation page. At the same time, a request to complete the evaluation will be automatically created for the manager.
  2. Both the employee and their manager can answer questions at the same time (each on their own card).
  3. Both can add a comment to the review on the Comments tab. The manager can also add a top comment, which will always appear first.
  4. Both can see records on the History tab that are automatically recorded there by the system.
  5. After answering the questions, both must click the Submit button, which will send the questionnaire. When both submit the completed evaluation, its stage will change from Open to Closed and its status from Incomplete to Completed.
