Filtering and displaying data

Updated by Dana

In many places in the Pinya HR application you will encounter dynamic grids .

These are lists where you can not only view data, but also filter, sort, or edit what you want to see.

This includes, for example, a list of employees or applicants, property records, or overview of employee evaluations.

So they appear wherever you work with larger lists of data.

In this article, we will use a specific example of a list of employees to show you the options for filtering and displaying data.

You can filter and view information in the employee list in several different ways:

  1. using the Manage Views button
  2. using the Filter employees button
  3. via filters in column headers
  4. through grouping

1. View Management

This feature allows you to customize the display of data in lists according to your needs - you can choose which information (columns) you want to display, making it easier to navigate and work with data.

For a detailed description of this feature and how to do it, see the article Managing Views .

2. Filter employees

Filtering is performed on current employee data, including concurrent contracts.

Click the Filter Employees button and enter the parameters by which you want to search for the desired records.

This method allows you to select multiple values for one parameter at the same time.

3. Filters in column headers

For each column in the employee list, you will find a small filter (funnel icon) that allows you to quickly search and limit the displayed records according to the values in that column.

For a detailed description of this feature and how to do it, see the article Filters in column headers .

4. Grouping

You can also filter employees using the grouping feature.

Simply drag any column in the list over the column headers and employees will be grouped according to it – for example, by their manager.
