This module is used to record employee events into their Outlook calendar.

The employee enters presence or absence in PINYA HR - e.g. vacation - and the system takes care of adding the event to their Outlook calendar.

All presence/absence types that have the Sync to Outlook flag are specified, including the Out of office message.

Only approved presences/absences are recorded.

Rules for writing to Outlook

  1. Resolution Is/Isn't working time
  • "Is working hours" checked in Absence type = Work elsewhere in Outlook

"Is working hours" is not checked in Absence type = Out of office in Outlook

  1. Event name
  • Outlook primarily assigns the Alternative name of the Absence Type, or if it does not exist, the name of the Absence Type.
  1. Out of office message
  • The last known field content from the last known absence type is automatically inserted into the Content of automatic response to absence requests field.
  • In Pinya HR, it is not possible to distinguish between OOO messages within the organization and outside the organization; this division must be made additionally directly in Outlook.
  1. Event reminder
  • Events are always copied to Outlook without a reminder. If necessary, you need to set a reminder for the event directly in Outlook.
