Module functions
This module is used to record employee events into their Outlook calendar.
All event types that have the Sync to outlook flag are overwritten, including the Out of Office message.
An employee enters an absence type event in PINYA HR – e.g. vacation – and the system takes care of writing the event to their Outlook calendar.
Other module functions
- Types of absence related to working time
- Work time is checked in absence type = Work elsewhere in Outlook
- Work time is not checked in absence type = Out of office in Outlook
- Event name
- Outlook primarily assigns the Alternative Name of the Absence Type, or if it does not exist, the name of the Absence Type.
- OOO – automatic reply insertion
- The Automatic reply field on absence requests is populated with the last known field content from the most recent absence type.
